We are looking for a dedicated professional who shares our core values of Customer passion, Care, Collaboration, Curiosity, and Courage. /p h3Requirements /h3 ul liKnowledge of Mission Control System concepts, mechanism and functionalities, including: ul liTelemetry reception and decoding (Packet and Parameters) /li liTelecommand preparation, encoding and releases aspects /li liMission Information Base / Mission Database management /li liConnectivity with the Ground Stations /li /ul /li liMaster’s degree in STEM disciplines. /li liSolid knowledge of the principles of TTC. /li liExperience with TM/TC protocols (CCSDS, ECSS) and Mission Control systems (ESOC, SCOS-2000, EGSCC or equivalent). /li liKnowledge of relevant Space Industry Standards,
such as ECSS and CCSDS. /li liFamiliarity with at least one programming language such as Python, C/C++, Java or Linux environments. /li liAbility to analyze and troubleshoot complex systems. /li /ul h3Soft skills /h3 ul liExcellent problem solving skills and working in multidisciplinary teams. /li liQuality orientation, attention to detail and systemic approach. /li liGood knowledge of technical English. /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liExperience with real-time satellite operations. /li liKnowledge of tools for requirements management (e.g. DOORS) and versioning system (e.g Git). /li liExperience with ticketing systems (e.g. Jira, Redmine). /li liKnowledge of IP networks, IT security and distributed systems. /li liFamiliarity with cloud architectures for ground segments (e.g., Ground Station Network as a Service, microservices and containers). /li liBackground in machine learning or automation for space operations. /li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3 pa highly motivated Mission Control System Engineer to join the Ground Segment engineering team. /p pThe resource will participate in the design, development, integration and maintenance of mission control and communication systems with satellites. The resource will be involved in all phases of the system life cycle, from requirements definition to system operation,
collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and operations teams. /p pKey responsibilities /p ul liDesign the high level architecture of the Mission Control System, and specify its main functionalities. /li liDefine MCS requirements and interfaces, including Space to Ground IF and Ground to Ground IF. /li liCollaborate with satellite specialists for the integration of telemetry, tracking command (TTC). /li liFollow MIB construction and maintenance, coordinating the input from satellite manufactures and the activities of MIB specialists. /li liConduct integration, validation and verification, and testing to ensure that system requirements and performance are met. /li liSupport real-time operations during critical mission phases (launch, LEOP, commissioning). /li liPrepare system related documentation (Specifications, Design, Technical Notes, User Manuals, Test Procedures and Reports). /li liTechnical management of suppliers, including preparation of SoW and WPD, review of the deliverables associated with MCS components. /li liSupport the operations team to develop, validate, and implement operational procedures for satellite command and control. /li liParticipate to periodic technical meetings. /li liParticipate in the continuous improvement of processes and technological innovation in the field of mission control. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liCompetitive remuneration package, recognizing the value of your skills and expertise. /li liUnique career opportunities, including the possibility of working in other countries with our SSC Group. /li liPersonalized training and development programmes. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
