This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence by creating robust manufacturing standards, including detailed Work Instructions and Job Safety Analyses (JSA). The ideal candidate will be a technical leader on the floor—standardizing tooling, driving complex troubleshooting, and providing active support to production teams. You will be responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging process innovation to optimize Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) in the manufacturing of high-precision gas turbine and aeroderivative components. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liStandardization: Develop, maintain, and update Work Instructions and Job Safety Analyses (JSA) to ensure safe, repeatable, and compliant manufacturing processes. /li liProcess Engineering: Design, program, and implement machining processes for complex components. /li liProgramming Optimization: Develop and refine CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (NX preferred) and manual ISO/G-code editing. /li liTooling Strategy: Standardize tooling and lead the design of specialized jigs and fixtures required for specific machining operations. /li liShop Floor Support: Provide active, hands‑on technical support to production, including real‑time troubleshooting, machine sub‑routine optimization, and process adjustment. /li liContinuous Improvement: Lead process innovation projects to drive improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). /li /ul h3Required Qualifications Experience /h3 ul liPractical Experience: Must have a proven history as a CNC Operator or CNC Shop Floor Supervisor/Manufacturing Support /li liCNC Programming: At least 2+ years of experience in CNC programming (ISO/G-code and CAD/CAM). /li liSiemens Controls: At least 2+ years of hands‑on experience working with Siemens CNC controllers. /li liProcess Knowledge: Comprehensive mastery of CNC machining processes, including lathe, milling, grinding, and drilling. /li liTechnical Proficiency: /li liExcellent knowledge of mechanical drawings and blueprints. /li liDeep understanding of machine tool capabilities and process parameters. /li liProven experience in developing and troubleshooting CNC machine sub‑routines. /li liSoftware Skills: Previous experience in tooling design for machining processes using NX. /li liMindset: Strong commitment to safety and quality standards. /li liLanguage skills: proficient in Italian and good English skills (reading writing) /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liSpecific experience in the repair and refurbishment of gas turbine and aeroderivative parts. /li liAdvanced technical certifications related to CNC machining or mechanical engineering technology.
