Working at Parker means belonging to a passionate, dynamic and innovative team, empowered to make a difference. /ppThe Design Engineer supports the design, development, validation, and continuous improvement of hydraulic rotary actuator products and related components. This role is intended for an engineer in the early stages of their career who is building technical depth in hydraulic systems, mechanical design, product performance, and manufacturability. /ph3Your day-to-day /h3ulliSupport the design and development of hydraulic rotary actuators, housings, shafts, seals, bearings, stops, and related mechanical components. /liliCreate and revise 3D models, 2D drawings, and engineering documentation in accordance with applicable standards and internal procedures. /liliPrepare and maintain bill of materials, engineering change orders, specifications, and release packages. /liliAssist in performing design calculations for torque, pressure containment, stress, fatigue, deflection, sealing, and tolerance stack‑up. /liliParticipate in design reviews, risk assessments, and design verification activities. /liliSupport prototype build, test planning, data collection, and test result analysis for product validation and performance characterisation.



/liliInvestigate product or process issues using structured root cause and corrective action methods. /liliCollaborate with manufacturing engineering to improve design for manufacturability, assembly, serviceability, and cost. /liliWork with suppliers and internal teams to support component selection, material evaluation, and technical issue resolution. /liliSupport compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and customer‑specific requirements. /liliContribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on product reliability, lead time, quality, and cost reduction. /liliCommunicate technical information clearly to cross‑functional stakeholders and, when required, to customers. /li /ulh3Who we are looking for /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent is a plus. /lili0–5 years of engineering experience, including internships, co‑ops, or entry‑level product design experience. /liliFoundational knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, tolerancing, and manufacturing processes. /liliBasic understanding of fluid power or hydraulic systems. /liliExperience with 3D CAD modelling and engineering drawings – Ideally Inventor. /liliAbility to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and test data. /liliStrong analytical,
