Mission
We are looking for a Senior Bridge Engineer
registered as a protected category candidate under Italian Law 68/99 . The role focuses on planning, designing, and maintaining of bridge structures. The role involves applying engineering principles to ensure the safety, functionality, and longevity of bridges within infrastructure projects. This position requires a strong understanding of structural engineering, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to industry standards.
Key Accountabilities
Bridge Design and Analysis
Design and analyze bridge structures, considering factors such as load-bearing capacity, materials, and environmental impact;
utilize engineering software and tools to model and simulate bridge behavior under different conditions.
Project Planning
Collaborate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to develop comprehensive plans for bridge projects;
provide input on timelines, resource requirements, and budget considerations.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure that bridge designs and construction adhere to local, state, and national codes and regulations;
stay informed about changes in standards and implement updates as necessary.
Structural Assessments
Conduct inspections and assessments of existing bridges to evaluate structural integrity and identify maintenance or rehabilitation needs;
provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades based on assessments.
Collaboration and Coordination
Work closely with architects, geotechnical engineers, and construction teams to integrate bridge designs into overall infrastructure projects;
