The opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Cyber/Tech PI Underwriter or Broker to play a key role in shaping the future of our Cyber portfolio. You’ll join our Global Specialty business as a senior member of the Cyber team, with significant authority on complex risks and a clear mandate to drive profitable, sustainable growth. Tech PI Underwriting forms part of the Cyber Vertical at Global Specialty.

What will you be doing?
- Leading and executing the Cyber underwriting plan, ensuring strong technical risk selection, pricing discipline and portfolio optimisation.
- Underwriting complex and high-value Cyber / Tech PI risks in line with our appetite, guidelines and pricing frameworks, with a clear commitment to risk quality, governance and best-in-class pipeline management / business development.
- Using data, portfolio insights and market intelligence to inform underwriting decisions, identify trends and support innovation in products, propositions and underwriting approach.
- Building,



developing and maintaining strong relationships with key brokers and customers, acting as a visible and trusted point of contact for Cyber & Tech PI.
- Collaborating closely with the Head of Cyber and wider leadership to shape and deliver underwriting strategy, bringing commercial insight and experience across different market cycles.
- Providing technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to less experienced colleagues, helping to build capability and foster a high-performance, learning culture.
- Working effectively with a wide range of stakeholders (including claims, actuarial, portfolio management, operations and senior leaders), managing priorities and “managing up” with credibility and confidence.
- Supporting a culture of continuous improvement, including process enhancement, knowledge sharing and the use of new tools, data and ways of working.

What are we looking for?
