Job DescriptionThe Entertainment Technician has to be energetic, flexible, motivated person who has experience in lighting and audio-visual field. This position assists in the preparation and setup of lighting, audiovisual, and power distribution equipment, and occasional standby tech for special events. He must be able to take initiative and be self-motivated with the ability to think on the fly with a ", can do", attitude. He must have good communication skills, reliable and detail oriented. Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not be limited to, the following areas and activities. - Installation, operational,



functional and preventive maintenance including the inspection and use of audio, lighting, video, projection equipment, troubleshooting of equipment faults, removal and installation of equipment. - Proven technical experience in live entertainment in the following disciplines: - Digital Audio and Sounds Reinforcement - Lighting with Conventional and Moving Light Operation - Digital Light Board programming &, Operation - Video Engineering/Projection Mapping - Proven ability to operate, program, troubleshoot and maintain equipment for theatrical and live entertainment venues - Understanding of electrical circuitry, proper cabling and wiring of electronic devices - Ability to work in an active environment, inclement or extreme weather conditions - Ability to adapt to a physically demanding role that encompasses frequent lifting, climbing, squatting, and standing for extended periods of time - Complete
