- Job Description- H-FARM International School Venice is a continuing period of growth, with a boarding community of over 200 students drawn from across the world. We are seeking an exceptional Head of Boarding to lead and shape a residential environment that is safe, ambitious, humane and intellectually alive.- The Head of Boarding is a senior pastoral leader who will cultivate a family-centred boarding culture grounded in the School’s Six Dimensions of Success: emotional, social, learning, community, language and future preparedness. The role requires a deep commitment to the individual growth of each student and to the creation of a boarding experience that empowers young people to become confident, principled and future-ready.- Key ResponsabilitiesLeadership and Management
Provide strategic and operational leadership for a boarding community of 200+ students, ensuring excellence in pastoral care, safeguarding and student experience.
Contribute to the Campus Senior Leadership Team, shaping school strategy and decision-making. Promote a safeguarding culture where student safety, dignity and wellbeing are the priority. Line manage Houseparents, Coordinators and Boarding Assistants, setting clear expectations and supporting professional accountability and development. Chair boarding leadership meetings and collaborate with programme leaders and the Head of School.Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring safeguarding practice is rigorous, documented and consistently implemented. Lead compliance with boarding standards and inspection readiness. Manage boarding budgets responsibly. Work with Admissions and Marketing to support enrolment, integration, retention and re-enrolment. Oversee induction and transition procedures for boarders.Operations and Residential Environment
