Aviomar Flight Academy is seeking qualified and motivated Theoretical Knowledge Instructors (TKIs) to join our instructional team at our Monterotondo Training Centre.
The successful candidates will deliver classroom-based theoretical knowledge instruction for our professional pilot training programmes, including:
- EASA ATPL theoretical knowledge subjects
- Aircraft Type Rating theoretical knowledge training
- Initial, recurrent and other advanced professional pilot training programmes
All training is delivered in person at our training centre. This is not a remote or online teaching position.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality theoretical knowledge instruction in accordance with approved ATO training programmes and applicable EASA requirements.
- Provide classroom instruction for ATPL subjects and/or aircraft Type Rating courses, according to the instructor's qualifications and experience.
- Prepare and deliver structured lessons, presentations and classroom briefings.
- Support students and professional pilots throughout their theoretical training.
- Assess student progress and provide appropriate feedback.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation in accordance with ATO procedures.
- Participate in instructor standardisation activities and support the continuous improvement of training material.
- Maintain a professional, operationally relevant and competency-focused approach to instruction.
Candidate Profile
Candidates should have one or more of the following backgrounds:
- Previous experience as a commercial pilot with an established airline or commercial air operator; or
- Previous experience as a Theoretical Knowledge Instructor within an approved ATO.
Candidates should also demonstrate:
- Strong theoretical and operational aviation knowledge.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to confidently deliver professional aviation training entirely in English.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical and operational subjects clearly and effectively.
- Professional attitude and commitment to high training standards.
- Availability to work a minimum of three days per week at our Monterotondo Training Centre.
Previous experience delivering ATPL theoretical knowledge or Type Rating ground training will be considered a strong advantage.
