Document same in Medical Record. /li liReview and chart daily laboratory results, passing information on to physicians and/or patients as needed. /li liEprescribe prescriptions at doctor’s order and communicate to pharmacies. /li liReceive and return patient and other’s telephone calls. /li liReview EMR charts for next day’s appointments, ordering lab results, consult reports or notes as necessary and document all required fields are within EMR to be eligible for meaningful use. /li liResponding to telephone calls, meeting patients in the office and scheduling patients to come to the office as needed. /li liParticipate in quality assurance and educational activities as requested. /li liUses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs establishing priorities.
