DESCRIPTION:
As a Field Service Engineer II (IC-LC-MS) at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll contribute to delivering excellent service for sophisticated analytical and scientific instruments, specifically those belonging to the IC-LC-MS group. Working with customers across research, industrial, and healthcare settings, you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot,



and repair complex equipment such as IC, HPLC, Integrion, Vanquish, Triple Quadrupole, IonTrap, and Orbitrap systems. This position offers opportunities to work with advanced technology while contributing to scientific advancement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform on-site installation, repair, maintenance, qualification, and validation of IC-LC-MS instruments
Ensure delivery of all activities related to the specific instrumental branch with the highest possible efficiency
Assure customer satisfaction through excellence in repair and support
Work in conjunction with other ULS teams and Sales, maintaining a client-focused approach
Schedule repair, maintenance, and qualification jobs by priority
Maintain spare parts inventory, tools, manuals, and test equipment
Actively promote and sell installations, extended service contracts, preventative maintenances, and related services
Advise customers of new products
