Objectives of this Role

The Machine Shop Supervisor has the following objectives:

Monitoring the progress of the production schedule, respecting productivity, the correct application of quality controls and scrap trend
Defining and communicating goals and related deadlines to the operators in accordance with the company strategies
Identifying inefficiencies, suggesting improvements and solving problems
Promoting the company principles and implementing procedures




Facilitating the onboarding of new associates and their training
Organize the workflow and delegate the execution of activities to the Sift Leaders

Training, experience and skills

Technical high school diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferres)
Previous experience in the role and in machine shops production planning
Knowledge of turning and milling processes on CNC machines
Knowledge of technical drawing and the main measuring instruments (gauge, micrometer, etc.)
Ability to write reports and technical documents
Leadership and ability to manage time effectively
Proficiency in oral and written English – B2 minimum level
