What You Will Be Doing:

- Working as a member of a project team to deliver quality services to clients
- Ensures all geotechnical designs are in accordance with set standards and all recommendations are robust, value-based and commissionable
- Ensures that designs are delivered on time to our clients and that the design fulfils the client’s brief
- Inspects construction work and ensures that all aspects of design are correctly implemented
- Monitors processes and results and ensure that they comply with relevant safety, legal,



ethical and regulatory requirements
- Ability to make appropriate judgements and decisions and exercise initiative
- Assisting at tender stage of projects

What You Bring:

Experience & Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1-years’ design experience in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering with proven technical knowledge of geotechnics and relevant software is preferred
- Detailed knowledge of Eurocodes and current engineering codes of practice
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and excellent planning and organisation skills
- Ability to work independently

Skills & Attributes:

- A first degree (minimum 2.1) in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or similar
- Masters degree in geotechnical engineering or similar is preferred
- Working towards Chartered Engineer status
