ppbYour contribution to Prysmian's Success: /b /ppThe bBranch Finance Tax Manager /b plays a key role in the financial governance of the Branch, with full responsibility for accounting processes, tax compliance, and statutory obligations.
/ppThe role combines bhands-on technical expertise /b with bend-to-end ownership /b , acting as the main financial counterpart for Finance HQ, the Group Tax Department, and local operational teams.
/ppThis position offers strong exposure to binternational accounting and VAT matters /b within a truly multinational environment, with bregular interaction with colleagues and external advisors across different jurisdictions /b.
/ppIn addition, the role provides bdirect visibility and interaction with the Tax Accounting Director /b , with the opportunity to be involved in bstrategic and cross-border projects /b , contributing to the evolution of the Group's finance and tax framework.
/ppbJob responsibilities: /b /ppbAccounting Management /b /pullipEnsure bend-to-end supervision /b of general and analytical accounting activities for the Branch.
/p /lilipControl and record incoming and outgoing invoices, ensuring correct VAT setup and compliance with multi-branch/multi-VAT structures.
/p /lilipPerform bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet controls.
/p /lilipSupport and coordinate closing activities (monthly, quarterly, yearly) in collaboration with HQ Administration.
/p /lilipOversee documentation related to intra-branch and intra-EU flows (e.g., shipping documents, CMR, proof of transport).
/p /li /ulpbTax Compliance /b /pullipAct as bfirst-line owner of tax compliance /b , ensuring full accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness.
/p /lilipPrepare and submit VAT returns and Intrastat declarations in line with local requirements.
/p /lilipMonitor deadlines and ensure effective internal controls.
/p /lilipSupport internal/external audits and interact with tax authorities where needed.
/p /lilipbCoordinate with external tax advisors across multiple jurisdictions /b , ensuring alignment on local compliance topics.
/p /li /ulpbInternational Coordination Projects /b /pullipMaintain bongoing interaction with international colleagues and HQ functions /b , ensuring alignment on accounting and tax matters.
/p /lilipLiaise with bexternal consultants and advisors abroad /b on country-specific requirements.
/p /lilipSupport and contribute to bcross-border and strategic finance/tax projects /b , with exposure to senior leadership.
/p /li /ulpbOperational Coordination /b /pullipAct as a key interface with IT and shared services (SAP environment).
/p /lilipEnsure effective communication between operational teams and finance functions.
/p /lilipOversee payment processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal rules.
/p /li /ulpbReporting Analysis /b /pullipPrepare periodic financial and tax reporting for HQ stakeholders.
/p /lilipPerform variance analysis and monitor KPIs.
/p /lilipIdentify and drive bprocess improvements and internal control enhancements /b.
/p /li /ulpbYou are the right fit if you have/are: /b /pullipDegree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent.
/p /lilip3–5 years of experience in accounting or tax roles, ideally within multinational environments or Big Four firms.
/p /lilipSolid knowledge of SAP.
/p /lilipStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
/p /lilipGood command of written and spoken English.
