R&D; Engineer Commercial

About the Role

Job Purpose

You will develop products for EMIA markets as part of an integrated project team, embracing a strong project management discipline and facing technical challenges in order to meet future needs. Specific focus on development activity in tire design.

Responsibilities:

- Contribute to the technical development of tires by participating in technical teams
- Contribute to the process of benchmarking, designing prototypes, planning and analysing test results, and preparing technical documentation;
- Participate in defining engineering approach and in planning and scheduling work
- Prepare appropriate documentation for assigned projects

Qualifications & Experience Required

Education, Master, other certification:

degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautical, Automotive)

Experience (years):

- 0+ [Any experience in automotive industry is welcome.]

Technical Skills:

- Software skills:
- MS Office package knowledge (proficient)
- CAD/PRO-E (basic capabilities)




- Mathlab / Python (basic capabilities)
- FEM modelling (basic capabilities)
- Large data analysis and AI capabilities (nice to have)

Basic skills:
- Structure mechanics (basic capabilities)
- Physics modelling basics (basic capabilities)

Languages Skills:

- English: required fluent communication

Knowledge of other foreign languages is welcome

Soft/Behavioral Skills:

- Analytical capabilities, Teamwork attitude, Goal oriented, Problem solving, Effective communication and presentation skills, Accuracy in execution.

Salary range: €37,601 - €46,500

The salary range is based on gender-neutral criteria: applicable CCNL requirements, responsibilities, working conditions and market benchmarks for the role and location. Final compensation will be determined based on gender-neutral criteria: experience, skills, and internal equity.
