Legal Counsel – Italy Founded in 2007, GreenYellow is a global leader in the energy transition, specializing in solar generation, energy efficiency, and energy storage. Together, they are accelerating GreenYellow's expansion in Europe to help corporates achieve their decarbonization goals. Reporting to the GY Italia General Manager with reporting duties to the Legal Director Europe (both members of the Executive Committee of the European BU), you will support commercial activity in the italian region.

As Legal

Counsel for Italy, you will report to the GY Italia General Manager with reporting duties to the Legal Director Europe. You will support GreenYellow's commercial activity across Italy, ensuring legal rigor and business alignment across the region.

Implement

GreenYellow's contractual policy on commercial agreements with suppliers and customers (purchase agreements, EPC, PPAs, energy efficiency contracts), including drafting, review, and monitoring. Provide support and advice to operational teams (sales, technical, finance, etc.) on legal matters affecting day-to-day business.



Contribute to the drafting and continuous improvement of contract templates.

Provide legal support on project financing activities, overseeing the structuring, negotiation, and drafting of the related contractual documentation. You will be the internal point of contact for all matters relating to GDPR and data protection: policies, DPAs with customers and suppliers, data breach management, and liaison with the DPO. Draft internal notes and summary tables for internal presentations, and help develop training and internal organization tools.

Participate in legal monitoring in business law and, where applicable, energy law for the Italy region. Liaise with the Paris legal team to ensure consistency of legal practices across GreenYellow's European operations. Postgraduate degree in business law. ~4-6 years of experience in a energy company or law firm, in commercial law. ~ Expertise in PPA and UaaS contract drafting and negotiation. ~ Strong analytical skills and ability to summarize complex legal matters clearly. ~ Given the necessary knowledge, you can solve complex problems.
