Position
You will support the organization in maintaining reliable financial visibility and disciplined performance management through accurate analysis, effective reporting and structured planning activities.
You will work with financial and operational data to explain performance developments, support recurring controlling processes and provide stakeholders with clear and accessible information. By combining analytical capabilities with reporting and data visualization tools, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of how business performance is monitored and communicated.
Job responsibilities
- Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, periodic revisions and Three-Year Plan projections, collecting and consolidating inputs from the relevant business functions.
- Validate financial and operational information, ensuring its accuracy, completeness and consistency before its inclusion in planning and reporting processes.
- Monitor business performance across sales, margins, expenditure, investments and profitability, using the relevant organizational and commercial dimensions.
- Prepare monthly management reporting and analyze the main deviations versus Budget, Forecast and Previous Year.
- Investigate the financial and operational drivers behind performance movements, including volume and mix effects, margin evolution, timing differences, savings, overspending and budget reallocations.
- Contribute to month-end closing activities by supporting data checks, accrual preparation, reconciliations and the validation of financial results.
- Develop, update and maintain Power BI dashboards and recurring reporting tools, improving the accessibility and visualization of performance information.
- Extract, structure and analyze data from different financial and operational sources, ensuring data traceability and consistency across reports.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc analysis requested by finance, commercial and functional stakeholders.
- Contribute to the preparation of management and executive presentations, transforming detailed data into clear charts, performance highlights and concise supporting messages.
- Present analytical outputs to internal stakeholders when required, explaining results and underlying assumptions in a clear and structured manner.
- Support the monitoring of Advertising & Promotion expenditure and other business investments, including budget availability, commitments, actual spending and expected evolution.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to clarify financial information, support budget monitoring and facilitate the correct application of controlling processes.
- Manage and maintain controlling dimensions, databases and reporting structures, ensuring accurate financial allocation and reliable analytical views.
- Provide financial information and supporting documentation for internal reviews, statutory closing activities and audit requirements.
- Contribute to the automation and continuous improvement of reporting and controlling processes, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, accuracy and data quality.
Profile
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in controlling, business analysis, financial reporting, accounting or financial planning and analysis, preferably within a structured organization.
- Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, monthly closing, variance analysis, management reporting and P&L; principles.
- Good understanding of the main financial drivers affecting sales, margins, operating expenditure, investments and profitability.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Power BI, including dashboard development, data modelling and data visualization.
- Strong proficiency in Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP systems, financial databases or planning and reporting platforms is considered an advantage.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken; knowledge of additional languages is considered a plus.

Additional information For new joiners in this role in Italy, the initial annual gross salary is EUR 40000. This salary has been determined on the basis of objective and gender-neutral criteria and corresponds to the compensation normally granted for this position at the time of publication of this job posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as your unique combination of experience and skills, seniority, and current organizational needs.

The employment relationship will be governed by the provisions of the applicable national collective bargaining agreement (CCNL Commercio), as applied by Bulgari Spa in Italy.
