ph3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop and review material selection strategies and technical specifications for pipelines, fittings, subsea structures, flanges and CRA materials. /li liDefine requirements related to corrosion allowance, pressure and temperature classes and material compatibility. /li liDevelop and review internal and external corrosion protection strategies, including cathodic protection, coating systems and corrosion inhibitors. /li liReview corrosion assessments, CP calculations, anode systems and coating specifications. /li liSupport welding engineering and fabrication activities, including WPS/PQR reviews, welder qualifications, weld overlay/cladding, heat treatment and NDT requirements. /li liDefine and review pipeline coating and field joint protection systems, including qualification testing and mechanical protection solutions. /li liContribute to pipeline integrity and technical assurance activities, including fracture toughness, sour service, fatigue, material traceability and failure investigations. /li liParticipate in technical reviews, audits and the resolution of NCRs and quality-related issues. /li liManage technical interfaces with pipeline, structural, fabrication and installation teams. /li liSupport vendor qualification and manufacturing surveillance, including line pipe mills, CRA suppliers, bending facilities and coating plants. /li liParticipate in FATs, mill testing and coating qualification activities. /li liMonitor compliance with ITPs, QCPs, QA/QC requirements and technical documentation. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Materials, Metallurgical, Mechanical or Corrosion Engineering. /li liAt least 12 years of relevant experience in materials engineering within the offshore/subsea or oil gas industry. /li liProven experience with line pipe manufacturing, coating facilities and offshore field joint coating. /li liStrong knowledge of metallurgy, particularly carbon steel, alloy steel, duplex and super duplex materials.



/li liSolid expertise in internal/external corrosion and cathodic protection. /li liExperience with offshore coating and insulation systems such as FBE, 3LPE and polypropylene systems. /li liGood knowledge of welding metallurgy, HAZ control and NDT techniques. /li liStrong understanding of QA/QC processes and technical documentation. /li liExcellent technical communication and stakeholder management skills. /li liPrevious experience working with international vendors, fabrication yards and multidisciplinary engineering teams is highly desirable. /li /ul h3Standards Codes /h3 pGood knowledge of relevant international standards, including: /p ul liDNV-ST-F101 /li liAPI 5L /li liISO 13628 /li liAPI 17D /li /ul pThe salary range for this position is €65,000 to €95,000 gross per year. The position is governed by the Italian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for Commerce and Tertiary Services applied by our company. /p pPlacement within the salary range will be determined based on technical skills, relevant experience in the role, and the outcome of the selection process, according to objective and neutral criteria.
