ph3Position Summary /h3 h3JOB DESCRIPTION /h3 ul liThe Presales Electrical Engineer is an important part of an interdisciplinary team of technical experts (mechanical, structural, architectural) to bring together schematic design for Data center (Hyperscale, Enterprise, Colocation, Edge, CLS) and Critical Infrastructure facilities. Position includes applying theoretical knowledge, practical engineering skills, as well as communicational skills in the fields of Clean Energy, AI and Data center design. /li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liConcept design of Data center electrical power systems and architecture, with traditional and AI design requirements, which includes: ul liLV power distribution (low voltage switchgear, uninterruptible power supply systems, busbar systems) /li liMV power distribution systems (medium voltage switchgear and transformers) /li liAuxiliary systems (AC, DC), lightning protection systems, diesel gensets... /li liElectrical load calculations, arc flash, short circuit and protection coordination study calculations and modeling tools /li liElectrical single-line diagrams /li /ul /li liUnderstanding of relevant codes and standards for electrical power equipment and installations /li liCoordination with other technical disciplines (architectural, structural, HVAC, controls, fire protection) /li liReading and understanding RFP and tender documents /li liProblem solving and interpretation of customer requirements in proposed solutions /li liModular Data center technical solutions and quotations /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering /li li5+ years experience /li liProficient in Electrical power system design /li liSizing and specification of electrical equipment and installations /li liKnowledge of electrical load calculations, short circuit and protection coordination study calculations and modeling tools /liliSolid communication skills, both written and oral, to work across multiple Engineering and Manufacturing teams to bring architectures and concepts to deployment /li liPC skills: active user of Windows, MS Office incl.
