ANAGRAM Rome opens in spring 2027. 45 rooms, a rooftop pool and bar, a bakery, and a café. We're building it for locals as much as for guests, which is rather the point: a hotel the neighbourhood uses, not one it walks past. It's our second property, after ANAGRAM Munich, Haus im Tal.

We're looking for the Hotel Manager who'll build the operation, hire the team, and run the place from pre-opening onwards. You'd start early enough to hire your own team and set how the place actually runs, rather than inherit someone else's version of it.

The Role

You'll have full operational responsibility for the property: its performance, its people, the guest experience, and the building itself. It's a hands-on role. You'll be in the building and with your team, not behind a desk. The brand, the design and the F&B; concepts are ours and largely settled. The operation, the team and how the building runs day to day are yours to build. You'll work closely with us through the run-up to opening and take more of it on as the property finds its feet.

What you'll do

- Hire and train the team across every department before we open
- Set up the standards and ways of working the property will run on
- Take ownership of the property's budget, costs and financial performance
- Oversee maintenance and supplier relationships
- Hold the standard across the rooms and every F&B; outlet
- Stay close to guest feedback, and make sure issues get resolved properly




- Grow the F&B; and events side of the business, from everyday local trade and partnerships through to private hire
- Lead and develop your department heads
- Keep the property compliant on health, safety and licensing

What we're looking for

- Hotel operations experience across more than one department. Front office, F&B;, housekeeping, whichever combination you've got
- Comfortable with the commercial side of a property: budgets, costs, and the numbers behind the operation
- At home with the systems a hotel runs on: PMS, channel manager, POS and the reporting that comes off them
- You can walk through an outlet or a floor of rooms and tell whether the standard is being met
- You've led a team, and you like building one
- Fluent Italian and English, and eligible to work in Italy
- Pre-opening experience helps, but it isn't a requirement
- No specific degree needed. We hire on what you've run, not what you studied
