The Role
Work within the Destination Management team responsible for contracting hotels. The role is based in Italy and reports into a Regional Manager.
The employee will be responsible for hotel contracts making sure G2 Travel has the most competitive rates and conditions in a portfolio of hotels in the designated areas.
Existing relationships with hotel (suppliers) need to be maintained, depending on the company´s needs new partners will need to be sourced.
Professional and swift support and advice need to be provided to peers.

Key Activities:





Negotiate and contract a portfolio of hotels with exclusive group rates, allocation, conditions, and inventory;
Constant monitoring of competitiveness for negotiated contracts;
Meet company´s deadlines and KPI’s;
Be the Company´s Leading hotel expert of your assigned region having in-depth knowledge and understanding of your market and destination;
Build and maintain relationships with partners;
Develop and ensure good relations with peers - colleagues, Sales Reps and Management, provide feedback and support when needed;
Monitor usage of contracted allocations;
Ensure fair/event files are kept up to date;
Represent G2 at Trade Shows and other events as and when required;
Work closely with counterparts in Hotel Reservations and assist in placing volume business (series), fam trips and VIP groups;
Give regular feedback on progress and performance of your region to Regional Manager through meetings, emails, or Monthly re
