Pastry Chefs / Bakers - New Artisan Bakery in Florence
Melaleuca bakery + bistrot is about to open a new artisan bakery in Florence, aimed at supplying our pastry shop and brunch venues, and serving the local community. We are looking for experienced and passionate pastry chefs and bakers to join our team.
The Role
- Production of sourdough bread and/or artisanal viennoiserie and other yeasted products
- Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, precision, and hygiene.
- Keeping the bakery space organized, disciplined, and efficient.
- Contributing to a creative and professional environment — with consistency and quality as top priorities.
- Interest in international bread
- and pastry-making traditions is highly appreciated.
Requirements:
- Proven professional experience in bread or pastry production.
- Great attention to detail and a methodical, disciplined work style.
- Passion for craftsmanship and curiosity to explore baking beyond traditional Italian recipes.
- Reliability and ability to work as part of a small, growing team.
- Early mornings essential.
