About the job
We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our core products international software development team.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with product leads and designers to develop reliable and well tested backend software
- Design and implementation of new GeoServer/GeoTools features
- Performance of day-by-day bug fixing

Minimum qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience
- Good knowledge of Java Enterprise
- Good Knowledge of Spring Framework
- Good knowledge of relational databases, PostgreSQL is a must, Oracle a plus
- Ability to adapt and learn new skills quickly
- Being fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable systems for highly concurrent loads
- Knowledge of distributed systems and related key technologies is a plus (e.g. Kafka)
- Knowledge of GeoServer and GeoTools is a plus

We offer a variety of contracts but, please, note that our intention is to establish a long-term relationship. We are a remote first company, however the ideal candidate should work from a time zone between GMT and GMT+2.
Relocation is not requested and as such we are not envisioning any relocation support package.
