Since 2018, Agap2 Italia has been operating nationwide in the following sectors: Energy, Oil Gas, Steel, Hydrogen, Power Generation and Construction. /p h3ABOUT THE ROLE – Commissioning Engineer – Mechanical/Piping /h3 pWe are looking for a strong Commissioning Engineer – Mechanical/Piping to join an important Oil Gas / Energy project. /p pReporting to the Hook-Up Commissioning Superintendent, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing Mechanical/Piping Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities, ensuring that systems are complete, safe and operational in accordance with project requirements. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupervise flushing, cleaning, hydrostatic/pneumatic testing, air blowing and leak testing of piping systems. /li liSupport installation checks and pre-start-up verifications for pumps, compressors, vessels, exchangers and piping. /li liVerify alignment, grouting, bolt torquing and lubrication of rotating equipment. /li liWitness equipment rotation checks, vibration checks and functional tests in accordance with OEM procedures. /li liVerify mechanical and piping system integrity, reinstatement and punch list clearance. /li liSupport troubleshooting activities during start-up. /li /ul h3Planning Coordination /h3 ul liPrepare commissioning procedures, test packs and checklists for Mechanical/Piping systems. /li liCoordinate with Construction, QA/QC, Vendors, Operations and Instrumentation teams to ensure system readiness. /li liMonitor Mechanical Completion progress and system handover activities. /li liParticipate in system walkdowns and redline drawing updates.
/li liContribute to the preparation and compilation of commissioning dossiers. /li /ul h3Handover System Completion /h3 ul liManage the handover of Mechanical/Piping systems from Construction to Commissioning and subsequently to Operations. /li liEnsure all technical documentation is properly collected and recorded, including test reports, torque certificates and as-built documentation. /li liSupport reliability runs, performance testing and final acceptance activities with the Client and Operations teams. /li /ul h3HSE /h3 ul liEnsure that all commissioning activities are carried out in compliance with PTW, LOTO and project HSE procedures. /li liParticipate in toolbox talks, risk assessments and safety meetings. /li liPromptly report incidents, near misses and equipment anomalies. /li liStop unsafe activities whenever necessary. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification. /li liAt least 8 years of experience in Mechanical/Piping activities after obtaining the degree. /li liPrevious experience in Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities within the Oil Gas, Energy or industrial plant sectors. /li liKnowledge of ASME, API, ISO and project-specific standards. /li liAbility to read and interpret PIDs, isometric drawings, test packs, equipment datasheets and vendor drawings. /li liExperience with Commissioning/Completion Management systems such as ICAPS, WinPCS, CMS or equivalent.
