ppJob Description Summary In this role you will drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation, select suppliers through qualification processes, own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards, own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed. You will leverage knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others and you will be aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market. /ph3Essential Responsibilities /h3ulliSupplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development /liliAct as primary interface between suppliers and GE Avio Aero for any quality issues /liliCollaborate with Sourcing and Engineering, Manufacturing to eliminate roadblocks and barrier /liliDevelop compliance solutions to complex problems /liliLead RCCA process /liliApprove supplier selection through robust qualification processes and part qualification /liliEnsure quality requirements, including technical regulation and standards by owning the surveillance and perform quality audits /liliProactive monitoring of the performance of suppliers to ensure that they remain in a state of control /liliLeading the effort to drive improvement and for the development assessment of quality metrics, KPIs and reports associated with suppliers /liliSuppliers' Quality Plan implementation /li /ulh3Required Qualifications /h3ulliMaster’s degree in Mechanics or Materials/Chemical engineering with metallurgical orientation /liliPrevious experience in the same role in automotive or aerospace companies /liliExperience with forging and casting process /liliAbility to read fluently technical drawing and regulations /liliBasic knowledge of Quality tools /liliDeep knowledge of APQP /liliBase knowledge of measurement method and inspection technique /liliFluency in English and Italian /liliAvailability to frequent travel, EU and extra EU /liliWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation,
