ppA major European infrastructure firm is currently working with our team to verify the financial assumptions underlying their long-term capital plans, and we need a Project Administrator to coordinate the flow of information.
This role provides essential support in a fully remote environment, ensuring that our principals have the organized data and clear timelines required to provide objective advisory services.
/p pBlue Oak Consulting provides independent advisory on pricing, portfolio economics, capital allocation, and acquisition assumptions.
We are not a traditional consulting firm focused on broad transformation programs or high level strategy decks.
Instead, we interrogate specific commercial decisions where the financial stakes are high and the existing narrative is not sufficient.
Our team looks past corporate language and PL complexity to identify where value is leaking or capital is trapped.
We work across sectors like software, manufacturing, and healthcare to test whether the assumptions behind a growth plan or an acquisition actually hold under pressure.
We are a small, principal?led firm where the people who do the work are the ones accountable for the results.
We do not take transaction contingent fees, which allows us to be completely honest about whether the economics of a decision make sense.
Our goal is to provide clarity through financial discipline and a healthy amount of skepticism.
We stay through the execution phase because decisions that look sound in theory often fail when they meet real?world friction.
/p h3The Role /h3 pWorking as a Project Administrator at Blue Oak Consulting means being the logistical anchor for our engagement teams.
You will work closely with firm principals to manage the administrative side of complex financial audits and economic reviews.
This is a fully remote role that demands a high level of self?discipline and an ability to maintain order among shifting priorities.
You will not be making strategy decks (we avoid those)

but you will be ensuring that every piece of evidence, every model version, and every client meeting is tracked with precision.
The environment is professional and focused on facts, requiring someone who enjoys building structure out of large amounts of data and documentation.
/p h3What You Will Be Doing /h3 ul liTracking project milestones and deadlines for the European infrastructure firm engagement to ensure all deliverables are met on time.
/li liManaging version control for financial models and technical reports to prevent data silos or conflicting assumptions.
/li liOrganizing digital data rooms and ensuring that all third?party research and internal evidence is properly indexed and accessible.
/li liScheduling and coordinating review sessions between our principals and client stakeholders across multiple time zones.
/li liTranscribing and summarizing action items from internal working sessions to ensure the team stays aligned on technical priorities.
/li liMaintaining the project workspace, including document templates and centralized contact lists for all relevant parties.
/li liAssisting with the formatting and final review of reports to ensure they meet our standards for clarity and financial accuracy.
/li liMonitoring the project budget and resource allocation to help principals identify potential bottlenecks early.
/li /ul h3What You Bring /h3 ul liCompletion of a university degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field.
/li liA high degree of comfort working independently in a fully remote environment without constant supervision.

/li liLogical thinking and a natural curiosity about how large companies make financial decisions.
/li liStrong technical skills in Microsoft Excel and experience using basic project tracking or documentation software.
/li liExceptional attention to detail, specifically the ability to spot inconsistencies in documentation or scheduling.
/li liProfessional communication skills and the ability to summarize complex meeting notes into clear, actionable points.
/li liWillingness to learn the firm's specific methodology for interrogating financial assumptions and commercial cases.
/li liA disciplined approach to time management and the ability to handle multiple administrative tasks simultaneously.
/li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul liFull?time employment in 100 percent remote capacity, offering flexibility in how you manage your day?to?day workspace.
/li liCompetitive pay for an entry?level professional that reflects the importance of this role to our firm.
/li liDirect access to senior principals, providing a rare opportunity to see how high?level commercial advisory is performed.
/li liTraining in our proprietary frameworks for financial discipline and capital allocation analysis.
/li liExposure to large?scale international projects, including our work with a major European infrastructure firm.
/li liA culture built on honesty and skepticism, where the focus is always on the numbers rather than corporate politics.
/li /ul pAt Blue Oak Consulting, we believe that clarity comes from discipline.
We do not value long hours for the sake of appearances, but we do value work that stands up to scrutiny.
By taking on the administrative complexities of our projects, you allow our team to remain focused on finding the truth behind the numbers.
We look for individuals who take pride in the accuracy of their work and who are eager to understand the fundamentals of corporate economics through hands?on project support.
