pemOwn the IT and network infrastructure across our corporate team and residences — from switch config and secure WiFi to identity, devices, and rolling out new sites. /em /ppbr / /ppstrongLocation: /strong Remote (Italy) — frequent travel to Siena required, particularly during the first months /ppstrongLevel: /strong Mid-level (5+ years of relevant IT experience) /ppstrongContract type: /strong Full-time /ppstrongSalary: /strong €35,000 – €50,000 RAL, depending on experience /ppstrongLanguages: /strong Fluent Italian and English — both written and spoken (mandatory) /ppbr / /ppstrongAbout Guild Living /strong /ppGuild Living is pioneering a new model of longevity living in Italy, creating beautifully designed communities where people live with purpose, connection, and joy. Founded by Eugene Marchese and Michael Eggington, two of Australia’s most experienced senior living executives, we combine world-class hospitality, wellness, and architecture to redefine what it means to age well. /ppOur first community, Guild Siena, has already transformed how Italians experience later living. With new developments underway in Trieste, Versilia, Lake Garda, Lake Maggiore, and Fiesole, we’re building something significant — and we’re using technology to make that vision real at every touchpoint, from how residents experience daily life to how our teams operate behind the scenes. /ppWe’re a small, ambitious team in the early stages of that expansion. As we grow, the infrastructure that holds everything together needs to grow with us. That’s where you come in. /ppbr / /ppstrongThe Role /strong /ppWe are at a point where IT needs to grow up alongside the business. We currently have two separate support providers across two locations, a mix of tools that have accumulated organically, and no single person who owns the full picture. That changes with this hire. /ppThis is not a helpdesk role. You will own both sides of the job: the systems and accounts our teams use every day, strongand /strong the physical network and infrastructure that our residences run on. If the WiFi in a residence drops, if a new site needs a network designed from scratch, if access rights have quietly sprawled over two years — that’s you. /ppWe are looking for someone who is genuinely enthusiastic about technology and how it makes organisations work better, not someone who is comfortable processing tickets and waiting to be asked. Working alongside our Business Innovation Lead, you will also help identify and implement improvements to the tools and processes our teams use every day. /ppSome days you will be in a rack configuring a switch. Others you will be onboarding a team member, reviewing a vendor contract, rolling out a new tool,

or thinking through how we set up IT for a new residence. That variety is the job, and we want someone who finds it interesting, not overwhelming. /ppbr / /ppstrongWhat You’ll Be Working On /strong /ppbr / /ppstrongOwning the IT foundation /strong /ppYou will be the single owner of everything IT across our corporate team and Siena residence. That means managing device procurement, setup, and lifecycle; br / running onboarding and offboarding end-to-end (accounts, access, devices, permissions); br / and keeping our access management clean — who has access to what, at what level, reviewed regularly. You will be the person people call when something is not working, and the person who makes sure problems are properly resolved and documented, not just closed. /ppbr / /ppstrongNetwork and infrastructure /strong /ppEach residence is a physical site with real network needs: staff and guest WiFi, VLAN segmentation, firewalls, VPN, switches, connectivity that has to stay up. You will own the design, configuration, and troubleshooting of that infrastructure — working with vendors where it makes sense, but never dependent on them to understand your own network. /ppbr / /ppstrongSecurity and compliance /strong /ppWe handle sensitive resident data — wellbeing indicators, personal histories — which means security is not a box-ticking exercise here. You will be responsible for translating our GDPR and security policies into practical controls: endpoint encryption, MFA, VPN, network segmentation, secure WiFi in residences, and first-level incident response. You do not need to be a security specialist, but you need to take it seriously and know when to escalate. /ppbr / /ppstrongMaking things work better /strong /ppOur Business Innovation Lead actively looks for ways to improve how the organisation works through technology — inefficiencies in processes, friction in workflows, tools that are not being used well or should be replaced. Your role is to be the technical partner in that conversation: evaluating options, implementing changes, and making sure new tools or configurations actually land properly across the team. /ppbr / /ppstrongBuilding for multiple locations /strong /ppAs we open new residences, each one needs a consistent, secure, and repeatable IT and network setup.

You will define that baseline starting with Siena and make it something we can roll out cleanly as we grow. You will also be on-site frequently in the early months, which means you will genuinely understand how the residences work and what the staff actually need. /ppbr / /ppstrongWhat We’re Looking For /strong /ppbr / /ppstrongEssential /strong /pp5+ years in an IT support, systems administration, or IT management role, with evidence of owning things end-to-end, not just resolving tickets /pullistrongHands-on network experience: /strong configuring and troubleshooting switches, VLANs, firewalls, VPN and multi-SSID WiFi in a physical site — you’re comfortable in the rack, not just in the admin console /liliComfortable administering the Microsoft ecosystem and a range of SaaS tools across a team — accounts, permissions, integrations /liliSolid grasp of identity and access management: role-based access, least privilege, regular reviews /liliExperience with endpoint security, encryption, device management and MFA enforcement — applied consistently, without making people’s lives difficult /liliPractical GDPR awareness as it applies to the tools and data your organisation uses /liliStructured and reliable: you document what you do, keep things up to date, and build processes that hold up when you are not looking /liliGenuinely proactive and curious. You’ve built something at work nobody asked you to build — a script, an automation, a monitoring dashboard — because it was annoying you /liliFluent in Italian and English, written and spoken; br / based in Italy and available to travel to Siena regularly, especially in the first months /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongNice to have /strong /pulliExperience across more than one physical location or company site /liliBackground in healthcare, social care, or any context where data sensitivity and compliance matter in practice /liliExperience setting up a site or office network from scratch /liliExperience with hospitality or property management software (e.G. PMS, CRM, or similar platforms) /liliExperience working with non-technical colleagues to improve how they use technology — not just fixing problems, but making things genuinely better /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongWhat We Offer /strong /pulliA meaningful mission — technology that directly improves the lives of older adults /liliFull ownership of the IT and network function from day one: you will build it properly, not maintain someone else’s workarounds /liliA varied role with real breadth — no two weeks are the same /liliRegular time on-site in Siena, Tuscany /lilistrong€35,000 – €50,000 RAL /strong, depending on experience /liliRoom to grow as we expand: more sites, more complexity, more ownership /li /ulpbr / /p
