Within the Cyber & Security Solutions Area, we are looking for a Software Engineer for our Genoa Fiumara office.

The person will be responsible for the following activities:

- Develop, configure and customize software applications using Python.

- Operate in Linux environments for installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of solutions.

- Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into implementation solutions.





- Define use cases and test scenarios.

- Perform Unit Tests and software validation activities.

- Manage the compilation, integration and release cycle of the code.

- Implement and maintain automation and scripting processes.

- Plan, execute and monitor testing activities to ensure quality and performance.

- Prepare technical and operational documentation to support the project.

Educational Qualification

Degree in STEM disciplines or equivalent experience

Seniority

Senior - at least 5 years of experience in the role

Technical knowledge and skills

- Experience in software development with Python.

- Good knowledge of Linux operating systems (Red Hat, Ubuntu or equivalents).

- Experience in creating automation scripts and process management.

- Knowledge of Git and main versioning tools.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development processes.

- Analytical, problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Preferential requirements

- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar).

- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.

- Experience in Cloud environments.

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
