If you're looking for an exciting opportunity to grow in an innovative environment, this could be the perfect fit for you. /p h3Responsibilities: /h3 pbEnding customer-reported bugs / by building an internal safety net that catches critical issues before release /b /p pTriage and reproduce incoming bug reports, and trace issues across logs, API calls, and session replays /p pTest features in active development and run a regression suite before every release /p pEstablish QA sign-off as a standard part of the release process /p pbBuilding the quality infrastructure from scratch / by defining the strategy, automation, and processes the team currently lacks /b /p pDefine the testing strategy, standards, workflows, and documentation from the ground up /p pDesign and implement an automation framework covering UI, API, and regression suites /p pIncrementally grow automated coverage of the highest-risk flows without disrupting delivery /p pbMaking quality a shared team capability / by embedding QA thinking across the development lifecycle /b /p pTrack and report quality metrics so reliability is visible to the whole team /p pTranslate customer bug reports into actionable test cases and durable coverage /p pBring quality into requirements and design,
not just release sign-off /p pExperience as the bfirst or only QA engineer /b at a company or within a team - you have built a QA function from scratch, not inherited one /p pExperience testing bcomplex third-party integrations /b (REST/SOAP APIs, external data providers, or similar) where your application depends heavily on responses you don't control /p pExperience bshipping test automation from zero /b - not just maintaining an existing framework /p pStrong hands‑on bmanual and exploratory testing /b skills across functional and regression testing for web applications /p pbAPI and integration testing /b depth, including edge cases, error handling, data mapping, and contract validation between systems /p pbDefect management and root-cause analysis /b - disciplined bug reporting, triage, prioritisation, and driving fixes for recurring issues rather than surface patches /p pbRegression risk assessment /b - the judgement to define what "safe to ship" looks like for a given release /p pbCross-functional collaboration /b - working with developers, product, and customer-facing teams, and advocating for quality without slowing the team down /p pAwareness of the btravel / Global Distribution System domain /b (e.g. booking flows, PNRs, fare rules, availability) is a strong plus - enough to avoid the test‑coverage blind spots a generic QA engineer would miss /p pExperience or interest in bearly-stage /b or bgrowth-stage /b startups, and comfort building structure in ambiguity /p pFluency in English.
