You are proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders. You are passionate about embedding a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement across diverse markets. /ppbr / /ppstrongWhat You’ll Do: /strong /pulliLead the implementation and ongoing development of the Health Safety Management System across the EMEA region, aligned to ISO 45001 and continuous improvement principles /liliSupport the execution of HS strategy within EMEA, ensuring alignment with global frameworks while adapting to regional regulatory requirements /liliDrive compliance by establishing and maintaining effective inspection, audit, and monitoring programmes across offices, retail, and distribution environments /liliMonitor, interpret, and implement health safety legislation across EMEA markets, ensuring appropriate policies and procedures are in place /liliManage incident reporting, investigations, and follow-up actions across the region, identifying trends and ensuring lessons learned are shared /liliProduce regular HS performance reports for regional leadership, tracking KPIs, risks, and improvement actions /liliPartner with HR and business leaders on health, safety, and wellbeing matters, including individual risk assessments where required /liliSupport insurance and claims processes across EMEA,
including coordination with loss adjusters and ensuring appropriate documentation and case management /liliCollaborate with Store Development, Construction, and Facilities teams to ensure safety and regulatory compliance in new store openings, refurbishments, and office projects /liliIdentify training needs and support the delivery of HS training programmes to build capability across the region /liliAct as a key EMEA contact for external stakeholders including regulators, consultants, and service providers /liliProactively identify risks and hazards, recommending practical and effective control measures /liliManage and develop a small regional HS team and/or external partners /liliContribute to broader global HS initiatives and projects as required /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongYou’ll Need to Have: /strong /pulliDegree or equivalent experience /liliNEBOSH Diploma (or international equivalent) /liliChartered Member of IOSH (or working towards) / equivalent experience /liliStrong working knowledge of health safety legislation across EMEA, particularly within retail and office environments /liliExperience conducting HS audits (ISO 45001) and implementing corrective action plans /liliExperience managing third-party providers and consultants /liliStrong communication and stakeholder management skills /liliFluent English (written and spoken)
