Role Description The Future of Finance Fellow | Private Markets Investment Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Milan.

This is not a traditional analyst seat. You will work on live deals from day one conducting due diligence on pre-IPO technology companies, building financial models, preparing investment committee memorandum, and engaging directly with founders, management teams, and co-investors. Minimal experience or unconventional backgrounds won't be considered as negatives.

- Day-to-day responsibilities include:Conducting deep-dive analysis on target companies in AI, Deep Tech, and adjacent sectors
- Building and maintaining financial models for valuation and scenario analysis
- Preparing investment memorandum and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Performing technical due diligence on AI/ML technologies and infrastructure
- Monitoring portfolio company performance and preparing investor reports
- Tracking market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes
- Supporting deal execution and coordination with legal and financial advisors

Qualifications

- Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field from a top-tier university
- 0–2 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or a relevant field — exceptional recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling (Excel, Python)
- Understanding of private markets, venture capital, or growth equity investing preferred
- Native or near-native proficiency in Italian required
- Fluent, professional English is mandatory — you must be comfortable working, writing, and presenting entirely in English

3. Case Study — A take-home investment analysis exercise simulating real deal evaluation
4. Case Study Presentation & Discussion — Present your findings and defend your recommendation
5. Final Interview with Managing Partner — Deep-dive on fit, motivation, and long-term alignment
