Role Description The Full Stack Engineer will work on-site in Milan in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of web-based applications that support Marzotto Sim’s trading, advisory, and research activities.

Responsibilities include building and integrating front-end interfaces and back-end services, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable systems aligned with business and regulatory requirements. The engineer will collaborate with product, operations, and market teams to translate functional needs into technical solutions, optimize performance, and improve user experience. Day-to-day tasks involve writing clean, testable code, maintaining documentation, troubleshooting issues,



and participating in code reviews to ensure high-quality software delivery.

The role also involves staying current with relevant technologies and proposing improvements to the firm’s technology stack and development processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, with experience delivering production-ready web applications.
- Candidates should possess solid Back-End Web Development skills, including designing APIs, handling data persistence, and integrating with existing financial systems.
- Candidates should possess front-end skills in Front-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), with the ability to build responsive, accessible user interfaces.
- Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., C++, Python or Node.js on the back end; React, Angular, or Vue on the front end) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), version control (Git), and CI/CD practices is highly desirable.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
- Understanding of financial markets or prior experience in fintech or investment firms is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment are essential.
