A solid governance, a clear strategy, and distinctive capabilities continue to support business expansion. /ppWithin this context, the company is now seeking a strongStrategic Buyer - Chemicals /strong: a high-performing professional who can bring fresh energy, expertise, and capabilities to further strengthen the Direct Procurement team. /ppbr / /ppstrongPosition – The role: /strong /ppThe strongStrategic Buyer /strong will strongreport /strong to the Global Commodity Manager Chemicals and will take strongresponsibility for one of the Chemicals SubCategory. /strong /ppHe/she will be in charge of strong1) /strong implementing and optimizing commodity strategy, strong2) /strong contributing to the development and execution of commodity programs and policies across the supplier base to ensure emoptimal Total Cost of Ownership /em (TCO), while supporting quality, delivery, sustainability, and innovation objectives, and, last but not least, strong3)
/strong play a key role in the transformation of a Procurement team with the ambition to be the Best in Class. /ppbr / /ppstrongPosition – Specific Responsibilities: /strong /pullistrongSupport the management of the chemical commodity /strongfor the BU Self Adhesives, contributing to the deployment of the commodity strategy with a particular focus on sourcing execution. /liliFoster stronglong-term partnerships /strong with suppliers, acting as their focal point for supplier visits, business reviews, negotiations, and quality management. /liliBuild and maintain effective relationships with key stronginternal stakeholders /strong across functions. /liliPrepare and conduct strongnegotiations /strong with suppliers regarding commercial terms, payment conditions and delivery terms in collaboration with the Global Commodity Manager. /liliPrepare and analyse performance, risk, and sustainability reports for business reviews and decision-making processes. /liliConduct comparative analysis about supplier’s capabilities and cost drivers, to gain insights and improve spending efficiency and effectiveness. /liliSupport the execution and tracking of innovation and sustainability projects in line with our business and ESG targets.
/li /ulpbr / /ppstrongRequirements and Key skills include: /strong /pulliDegree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent experience. /liliAbout strong3-5 years of experience /strong in a similar role within an industrial setting, preferably in complex multinational organizations recognized for procurement excellence. /liliPassion and interest for a professional development within Procurement, leveraged by an advanced context and knowledge. /liliSolid negotiation and cost-benefit analysis skills. /liliEntrepreneurial mindset combined with strong analytical and project management capabilities. /liliProactive attitude, high level of energy, and ability to adapt to changing environments. /liliStrong team-working approach and ability to collaborate effectively across departments in an international setting. /liliExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongLocation /strong: Verona /ppstrongLanguages /strong: Fluency in English is a must; br / Spanish language nice to have /ppbr / /ppstrongJob /strong: This is a empermanent /em emfull time /em job in a highly dynamic context. /ppemInitial /em Salary range will be in between EUR 45,000 - 50,000, plus Premio and Benefits, in line with Client commitment to transparent and equitable compensation practices.
