HSE Manager | Renewable Energy | ItalyLocation:Milan, ItalyProjects:Utility-scale Solar PV & BESSFocus:Corporate + Project HSEContract:PermanentI’m currently working with an established renewable energy developer working on an exciting opportunity for an experiencedHSE Managerto join their team in Italy.This is a broad, hands-on role covering bothcorporate HSE management and project-level HSEacross the development, construction and commissioning of utility-scaleSolar PV and BESS projects .The RoleYou’ll act as the company’s HSE subject matter expert, working closely with senior management, project teams, EPC contractors and other stakeholders to ensure high standards of health, safety and environmental performance across the business.A key part of the role will be acting asCSP/CSE (Coordinatore per la Sicurezza in fase di Progettazione / Esecuzione)on Italian projects where formally appointed, ensuring compliance withItalian Legislative Decree 81/2008 .Key ResponsibilitiesLead and continuously improve the company’s HSE management frameworkEnsure compliance with Italian HSE legislation and industry best practiceDevelop and maintain HSE policies, procedures,



risk assessments and reporting systemsProvide HSE leadership across renewable energy projects from development through to commissioningMonitor EPC contractor and subcontractor HSE complianceConduct site inspections, audits and safety reviewsLead incident investigations and corrective actionsIdentify and mitigate critical construction HSE risksPrepare, review and managePSC documentationCoordinate HSE requirements between clients, designers, EPC contractors and other stakeholdersCarry out site inspections and safety coordination during project executionEscalate and address significant HSE issues and non-compliancesWhat We’re Looking ForSignificant HSE experience withinconstruction, infrastructure, energy or industrial projectsProven experience supporting large-scale construction projectsUtility-scale Solar PV experience strongly preferredExposure toBESS and/or HV electrical infrastructureis a major advantageStrong experience managing EPC contractors and subcontractors from an HSE perspectiveStrong knowledge ofItalian HSE legislation, particularly Legislative Decree 81/2008CSP/CSE qualificationcompliant with Italian legislationExperience with construction-site safety, risk assessments and incident investigationsComfortable working autonomously within a lean, fast-moving organizationGood working knowledge ofEnglishValid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to project sites across Italy
