ph3Description /h3ullib$31.00/session Pre-School Related /b /lilib$45.00/session Early Intervention /b /lilib$33.00/hour Training Rate /b /li /ulpThe Registered Physical Therapist is responsible to evaluate and assess program participants, educate individuals and team members, complete required documentation, communicate with other health care professionals on the program participants’ IP/IEP, assist with departmental maintenance and supplies, participate in Agency activities, assist in orientation to the department and assist with equipment adaptation. /ppbCore Responsibilities /b /pulliEvaluate and assess individuals on an ongoing basis and implement appropriate treatment and goals based upon the evaluation. /liliEducate individuals and/or team members about findings of the evaluation, established treatment plans, methods of treatment, etc. /liliEducate team members about on-going services, injury prevention, range of motion, positioning and any other areas within the scope of physical therapy. /liliCommunicate with other health care professionals relating to all aspects of the Individual Program Plan (IPP)/Individual Education Plan (IEP). /liliProvides assessment, fabrication, modification, and repair of adaptive equipment, as needed. /liliAssist in orienting students, volunteers, and new therapists within the program; provide supervision for therapy assistants as required. /liliAdhere to mandatory abuse reporting laws and HIPPA requirements. /liliEnsure compliance with all pertinent government and agency regulations and operating standards.



/li /ulpbQualifications /b /pulliBachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy plus NYS registration license. /lili1 – 3 years of related experience. /liliBasic Computer Skills (Windows, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel). /liliValid NYS driver's license required. /li /ulpOur work environment provides the opportunity to grow and learn in a fast-paced atmosphere.
