POSITION: DATA ENGINEER | DATABRICKS - FULL REMOTE

? 1. YOUR ROLE
You will join a technical team working on the development and evolution of a modern data platform based on Databricks.
You will work as a Data Engineer, focusing on data ingestion, transformation and integration rather than data analysis or frontend reporting.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing data ingestion pipelines and processes within the Databricks environment.
You will contribute to the migration of legacy code and data processes towards the new data platform.




You will work extensively with SQL to analyze, transform and migrate existing data processes.
You will collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders to ensure data is correctly ingested, transformed and made available for downstream applications.
You will work in a fully remote, international environment, contributing to challenging data engineering and data platform projects.
You will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in modern data architectures, Databricks and cloud-based data platforms.

?️ 2. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Databricks.
Develop data transformation and integration processes within the data platform.
Ingest data from different sources into the new data platform.
Analyze existing legacy processes and migrate legacy SQL code and data workflows to the new platform.
Write, optimize and maintain complex SQL queries.
