- Ensure implementation, maintenance, and compliance of purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function
- Execute assigned activities according to ABB standard procedures
- Deliver and participate in training programs as required
- Execute purchasing and logistics strategies to optimize supplier and product costs, quality, and reliability
- Design and implement local sourcing plans and strategies
- Support local sourcing strategies aligned with business requirements
- Apply procurement standards, tools, and processes to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability
- Negotiate agreements with main suppliers and renew price lists and terms and conditions
- Recommend frame agreements to management and execute them upon approval
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of plastic and metal categories, including supplier market dynamics, sourcing strategies, and cost drivers
- At least 5 years of experience in similar role
- Dynamic and proactive individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ease communicating in Italian and English,
both written and spoken
- Ability to work in a team, prioritize tasks, work with deadlines, and manage projects effectively
