- Plan purchasing activities and issue purchase orders to support production and business needs
- Coordinate with international suppliers, purchasing teams, and manufacturing plants to ensure timely deliveries
- Monitor supplier performance and follow up on deliveries
- Proactively manage delays and urgent situations
- Manage inbound shipments, particularly from APAC suppliers
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs authorities
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation
- Ensure compliance with import/export and logistics processes
- Support business continuity through proactive problem-solving and effective supplier management
- Report to the relevant department manager
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in purchasing, planning, logistics, or a similar supply chain role within an international environment
- Experience working with overseas suppliers, particularly across the APAC region
- Familiarity with international transportation and customs processes
- Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,
or a related field
- Fluent in Italian
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Strong communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Experience using AS400 is required
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
