Safilo is looking for a dynamic and business-oriented HR Business Partner to join the Human Resources Department in our Padova Headquarters, looking after the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
The HR Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, partnering with the business to drive people strategies, organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. The role will have full ownership of the employee lifecycle, supporting assigned business functions and ensuring alignment between business objectives and HR initiatives in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for assigned business areas, building strong relationships with managers and key stakeholders.
- Partner with managers on organizational design, workforce planning, team effectiveness and people development initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, performance management, organizational changes and HR policies.
- Drive the annual people processes, including performance reviews, talent assessments, succession planning, compensation reviews and promotion cycles.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from workforce planning and job definition to sourcing, interviewing, offer management and hiring.
- Draft and maintain job descriptions in collaboration with Line Managers, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies through multiple recruitment channels and professional networks.
- Conduct interviews and coordinate selection processes with hiring managers and external partners.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
- Lead onboarding activities and facilitate the successful integration of new hires into the organization.
- Support employee development initiatives, identifying learning needs and contributing to career growth plans.
- Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews and retention analysis, providing insights to the business.
- Monitor HR metrics and organizational trends, providing data-driven recommendations to managers and leadership.
- Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures and best practices.
- Maintain and update organizational charts and workforce data to support business decision-making.
- Contribute to local and global HR projects related to organizational development, change management, employee engagement and process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with labor legislation, company policies and internal governance requirements.
- Collaborate with Centers of Excellence and HR Operations teams to ensure effective delivery of HR services across the employee lifecycle.
Other Information
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in HR Business Partner, HR Generalist or Talent Acquisition roles within international organizations.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes across different functions and seniority levels.
- Experience partnering directly with managers and supporting business leaders on people-related matters.
- Solid understanding of HR processes, employee lifecycle management and organizational development practices.
- Knowledge of labor legislation and HR compliance principles.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret HR metrics and translate insights into business actions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proactive, autonomous and solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluent use of English is a mandatory requirement.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent professional English is required.
- German (minimum B1 level) is highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset.
