/ppstrongKey Responsibilities: /strong /pollistrongProcurement: /strong /li /olulliDevelop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective raw materials and components sourcing.
/liliEstablish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing.
/liliMonitor and manage supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability.
/li /ulollistrongSupplier Management /strong /li /olulliBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and long-term partnerships.
/liliResolve any supply chain issues or disruptions promptly and effectively.
/liliMonitor MP cost increases and support any resulting commercial actions.
/liliMaintain the Supplier Register (including the criticality and performance values) /liliEvaluate the performance of current suppliers and implement corrective actions.
/liliRenegotiate/define new supply contracts with suppliers, price lists, and minimum/maximum order amounts, and find alternatives where necessary (strategic purchases).
/liliAnalyse Megatron's suppliers, and for each item, select at least three suppliers, defining the first and second choice among the three.
/liliMonitor the correctness of the Megatron code/Supplier code/Description correspondence.
/liliEnsure that each purchase order line is associated with the corresponding delivery date confirmed by the supplier.
/li /ulollistrongInventory Management: /strong /li /olulliOversee inventory control procedures to maintain optimal stock levels and minimise excess or obsolete inventory.
/liliImplement inventory tracking systems to ensure the accuracy and availability of materials.
/liliConduct regular inventory audits and analyse data to forecast future inventory needs.
/li /ulollistrongLogistics: /strong /li /olulliCoordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished products.
/liliManage shipping and receiving processes, including international shipments and customs documentation.
/liliOptimise logistics operations to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
/li /ulollistrongCompliance and Documentation: /strong /li /olulliEnsure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
/liliMaintain accurate records and documentation for procurement, inventory, and logistics activities.
/li /ulollistrongContinuous Improvement: /strong /li /olulliIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
/liliStay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation within the supply chain.
/li /ulpuRequirements /u: /pp· strong Must-haves /strong /ppo Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
/ppo Strong analytical skills.
/ppo Technical Skills /ppo Experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
/ppo Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and logistics principles.
/ppo Languages: /ppo Fluency in Italian and English (mandatory level B2 or above) /ppo (will be tested during the selection process).
/ppo Advanced Microsoft Office skills: /ppo Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), Word (revisions, cross-references), PowerPoint (timed presentations)
