/ppThey are currently looking for an bAgentic AI Expert for Model-Based Engineering /b to join their RD team in Pisa, Italy.
/ppIn this role, you will work as a System/Software Engineer within a highly collaborative research team, helping to develop the next generation of Model-Based Design tools.
The focus will be on improving simulation, code generation, diagram generation, and engineering workflows through the integration of the latest Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies.
/ppYou will work alongside experienced engineers, researchers, and PhDs on innovative RD projects with direct application to future engineering software platforms.
/ppbr/ppKey Responsibilities /pulliSupport the technological evolution of proprietary Model-Based Design tools through AI-assisted engineering.
/liliDevelop and integrate Agentic AI capabilities into existing engineering and software products.
/liliImprove large-scale simulation workflows, code generation, diagram generation, and automated test generation.
/liliDesign and implement efficient AI agent architectures, including RAG, orchestration, tool calling, and multi-agent systems.
/liliIntegrate LLM and AI technologies into existing engineering software environments.
/liliAnalyse and optimise complex LLM pipelines, including latency, scalability, and token efficiency.
/liliCollaborate closely with software engineers, researchers, and system engineering teams.

PhD preferred.




/liliExcellent knowledge of both bJava and Python /b.
/liliExperience with AI frameworks such as bLangChain, LangGraph, Docling, PyTorch /b, or similar technologies.
/liliHands-on experience with AI coding agents such as bClaude Code, OpenCode, Codex /b, or similar tools.
/liliExperience with bOpenAI API, MCP servers, and tool calling /b.
/liliStrong understanding of Agentic AI patterns, prompt engineering, and LLM-based workflows.
/liliExperience designing and building efficient bmulti-agent AI architectures /b, including: /liliRAG /liliorchestration /lilitool calling /liliintegration with existing software products /liliExperience analysing and optimising distributed LLM pipelines for scalability, latency, and token efficiency.
/liliFamiliarity with bModel-Based Engineering / Model-Based Design /b concepts such as UML, Simulink, Stateflow, or similar modeling environments.
/liliKnowledge of software testing, particularly regression testing.
