For a growing deep-tech client company in the PET depolymerization sector, we are seeking a Senior Pilot Plant Process Engineer for the plant of Albese con Cassano (Como) .

The role involves responsibility for process scalability and completing the Process Design Package (PDP) for the main plant in collaboration with R&D; and Operations teams.

Responsibilies

- Design and execution of the experimental campaigns, performing data acquisition and analysis, interpreting of experimental data, assessing system performance and identify operational bottleneck and critical parameters
- Technical ownership of the pilot plant assets, ensuring safe, continuous, and reliable fuctioning of the facility
- Managing the procurement of the spare parts, equipments, and materials for day-to-day operations
- Provide data to the Process Engineering group engaged in developing and delivering the licensor's PDP




- Active participation to project meetings and safety risks assessment carrying the practical experience built on pilot plant

Requirements

- Master degree in Chemical Engineering
- 5-8 years of prior experience as a process engineer in for chemical production companies and/or in engineering/licensing companies
- Proven experience in the engineering and management of chemical plants
- Knowledge of key international engineering standards
- Experience in the design of complex chemical processes (specifically: reactor design, separation processes, heat exchangers, and solids/slurry handling)
