In this Network Engineer role within NTT DATA's Managed Services, you will support a major automotive client from the Modena site, ensuring continuous service and meeting SLAs.
You'll collaborate with a global team to deliver on-site operations and incident handling, with on-call readiness outside business hours.
You'll help optimize performance, manage changes, and contribute to customer satisfaction.
This is a hands?on, cross?functional role that blends technical execution with service delivery in a dynamic international environment.
Daily onsite service
Standard changes (AP, Switch, etc. add/move/uninstall) including configuration and handover to Operations
Local troubleshooting including configuration
Break & Fix support
Major Change support
Local spare parts management
Performance testing support
Performance tuning and optimization support
Equipment configuration cleaning and hardening support




Backup / DR testing support
Reporting
Escalating unresolved issues to Central NOC
Strong communication and customer service skills
Team working and collaborative approach
Eager to learn
Good understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP)
Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
Ability to follow scripts and documented procedures
Confidence in troubleshooting of hardware/software
A minimum of experience in service delivery (6-12 months)
Able to work in international environment using English (speaking and writing)
