The Opportunity:
Provide general technical and commercial support to both external as well as internal customers such as the external product specialists, account managers and internal colleagues. Answer technical questions about products and applications. Treatment of product-related quality complaints. Act proactively with a view to achieving customer satisfaction and the promoting the sales cycle.
The Product Specialist is VWR's internal resource with expertise in the Chemicals product range. The main responsibilities include providing technical product support to customers and colleagues, preparing quotations and supporting tender activities. The position is office-based.
Technical Support
Provide ongoing pre- and post-sales technical support to customers on the Chemicals product range within the VWR portfolio.
Provide technical input for quotations and price recommendations based on product and market knowledge.
Identify and develop new opportunities through interaction with technical end users.
Collaborate effectively with the broader internal network.

Main activities




Increase competitive advantage and customer satisfaction by building trust and developing strong partnerships.
Work closely with customers, suppliers, VWR Sales teams and European functions to develop valuable solutions for customers' needs.
Develop and maintain broad knowledge of the VWR product portfolio.
Maintain knowledge of current commercial campaigns and initiatives.
Participate in internal and external training sessions and relevant meetings.
Liaise with suppliers on technical and product-related questions.
Support tender activities by identifying suitable products and responding to technical requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
