Position

Position

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our TTP Team in Cagliari (CA). The selected candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance web and Android applications, covering both front-end and back-end components, working within a multidisciplinary team focused on cutting-edge automation technologies.

As an experienced Software Developer, you will contribute to architecting and improving application infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance web and Android applications, covering both front-end and back-end components.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.




- Participating in technical discussions and decision-making and ensuring code quality and maintainability through code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Architecting and improving application infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Troubleshooting and debug complex issues across the stack and contribute to DevOps practices.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with the following skills:

- At least 6 years of experience in web and mobile (Android) software development. ( solid back-end skills are mandatory, front-end experience is beneficial)
- Extensive expertise of OOP in a Java, Python and Android environment. Other general-purpose programming languages are beneficial.
- Experience with relational databases, in particular MySQL.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and API design.
- Proven working experience with Linux environment.
- Strong testing mindset with knowledge of the test automation pyramid; capable of writing effective unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Strong team player skills, promoting collaboration with relevant partners, good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and reliable, able to manage and prioritize the daily activities based on deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills, ability to think out of the box,



challenge the status quo and come with concrete and pragmatic proposals.
- Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable, able to work in a rapidly evolving environment, effectively handling multiple tasks.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with principles of cybersecurity

Nice to Have:

- Experience with embedded systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Compurer Science or a related field
- Understanding of distributed or real-time software architectures
- Experience building, deploying, and scaling applications in containers, with exposure to Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, application security, data protection principles and threat modelling. Experience with vulnerability scan and penetration tests.
- Interest in or experience applying AI/ML technologies to software development
- Understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment/Delivery (CD).
