We are looking for a General Services Maintenance Engineer to join the Central Construction Facility Services team and support the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of the site's non-manufacturing infrastructure.

In this role, you will oversee building services, fire protection systems, water systems, preventive maintenance, contractor activities, and facility improvements.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external service providers to ensure technical excellence, compliance, safety, and continuous improvement across the site.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be directly responsible for:

- Overseeing the routine testing, certification, and preventive maintenance of fire detection, alarm, and automated fire suppression systems.
- Ensuring compliance with local and international fire safety regulations, maintaining accurate documentation and supporting authority inspections and audits.
- Managing the maintenance, chemical dosing, and testing of domestic and drinking water systems in line with health and anti-legionella requirements.

- Coordinating the maintenance and repair of office lighting, secondary electrical distribution, plumbing, civil infrastructure, and building services.
- Supporting space management activities, including office relocations, layout modifications, and furniture and equipment logistics.
- Coordinating and supervising external contractors and service providers to ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to agreed standards.
- Developing, tracking,



and executing preventive maintenance schedules through computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Supporting internal technicians and external contractors through a collaborative and coaching-oriented approach.
- Ensuring facility maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and Permit-to-Work procedures.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, including energy efficiency, water reduction, infrastructure optimization, and improved maintenance processes.

Your Profile

The Company will consider applicants that meet the following requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in facilities engineering, maintenance, building services, fire protection systems, utilities, or technical project management is an advantage.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance, facility utilities, contractor management, and health & safety practices is considered an asset.
- Local Electrical Wireman Licenses (A and B) will be considered a distinct advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, contractors, and external service providers.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong motivation to learn, develop technical expertise, and contribute to continuous improvement in a dynamic industrial environment.
