The RoleWe are looking for a talented 3D Designer, CAD Drafter, 3D Modeller, or Industrial Designer to join our team in Susegana.

You will support the development of LED lighting products and components, from the initial concept through to production. Working closely with our R&D;, engineering, suppliers, and production teams, you will create accurate 3D models, technical drawings, assemblies, and production-ready documentation.

The ideal candidate combines technical accuracy with a strong sense of product design and understands how to turn an idea into a functional, attractive, and cost-effective lighting product.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and model LED lighting products, components, accessories, and assemblies.
- Create accurate 2D technical drawings and detailed 3D models.
- Prepare production-ready documentation, including dimensions, tolerances, materials, finishes, and assembly details.
- Convert design concepts and sketches into technically feasible and manufacturable products.
- Develop customised lighting solutions for specific architectural projects.




- Review and update existing product drawings and design files.
- Work closely with R&D;, engineering, production teams, and external suppliers.
- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for aluminium, stainless steel, plastics, optics, and electronic components.
- Support prototyping, testing, product improvement, and design validation.
- Participate in design reviews to improve aesthetics, functionality, performance, assembly, and production costs.
- Ensure that drawings and products comply with applicable technical and quality standards.

Requirements
- Strong 3D modelling skills using software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, or similar.
- Excellent knowledge of CAD drafting and technical drawing.
- Good understanding of dimensioning, tolerances, assemblies, and manufacturing documentation.
- Experience in product design, industrial design, or mechanical component development.
- Understanding of materials, fabrication processes, surface finishes, and assembly methods.
- Ability to develop practical, production-ready solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple design tasks in a dynamic working environment.
- Collaborative approach and ability to work closely with technical and production teams.
- Degree or vocational qualification in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to work full-time from our Susegana office.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the lighting, electronics, architectural products, or metalworking sector.
- Familiarity with aluminium extrusion, CNC machining, die casting, sheet metal, plastics, optics, and LED components.
- Knowledge of rendering and product visualisation.
- Knowledge of Italian is beneficial.
