pMy client is looking for an Optical Communications Systems Engineer, focused on validation and characterisation of next-generation, optical communication products. As an Optical Communications Engineer, you will cover high-speed modulators, telecom systems, and photonic device performance. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an RD team, developing advanced telecom technologies. /ppbr / /ppstrongResponsibilities /strong /pp - Develop and execute test plans to verify functionality, performance and robustness of optical communication products /pp - Define and implement system-level validation strategies for telecom and photonic devices /pp - Design test methodologies that replicate real-world customer operating conditions /pp - Build and configure laboratory test environments representative of telecom systems /pp - Characterise high-speed modulators and optical communication hardware throughout development /pp - Analyse measurement data, identify performance limitations and perform root-cause investigations /pp - Support interoperability, integration and customer validation activities /pp - Develop automated test procedures to improve repeatability and efficiency /pp - Produce clear technical reports and recommendations based on test results /pp - Work closely with design,
