We are currently looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join a fast growing AI company in Italy.
This is a hands-on engineering role combining software development, AI, integrations and direct customer interaction. You will work closely with enterprise customers to understand their needs, design technical solutions and bring AI-powered systems into production.

Location: Milan or Rome, Italy – hybrid, 4 days/week in the office
Contract: Permanent
Languages: Italian & English

What you will do
Work directly with enterprise customers to understand their business and technical challenges.
Translate complex and ambiguous requirements into practical technical solutions.
Design, build and deploy AI-driven solutions and integrations.
Work across APIs, systems and data flows to connect customer environments.




Test solutions with real-world data and continuously improve their performance and reliability.
Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams.
Take ownership of technical delivery from initial design through to production.

What we are looking for
~5+ years of experience in Software Engineering or a similar technical role.
~ Strong software engineering and system design fundamentals.
~ Experience working with integrations, APIs, systems and data flows.
~ Experience building, deploying and maintaining production systems.
~ Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with customers.
~ A hands-on mindset and strong sense of ownership. xysqume
~ Interest in AI, automation and emerging AI-powered technologies.
