pStructured Finance Associate /ppbr/ppbEuropean Renewable Energy IPP | Milan, Italy /b /ppThe Opportunity /ppWe are working with a fast-growing European Independent Power Producer (IPP) looking to appoint a bStructured Finance Associate /b to its team in Milan. /ppThe business develops, invests in, finances, owns and operates renewable energy assets across multiple European markets, with a growing portfolio across bsolar, wind and battery energy storage (BESS) /b. /ppbr/ppThe Structured Finance Associate will play a key role in arranging and executing financing solutions across the company's development and operational portfolio. Working closely with the investment, MA, development and finance teams, the successful candidate will have significant exposure to lenders, institutional investors, advisers and senior management. /ppThis is an attractive opportunity for someone looking to move into a bprincipal-side environment /b and take greater ownership of financing transactions across the full project lifecycle. /ppbr/ppKey Responsibilities /pulliSupport the structuring, execution and closing of bproject finance and structured finance transactions /b across renewable energy and BESS projects. /liliBuild, maintain and review detailed financial models covering debt sizing, project returns, sensitivities and financing scenarios. /liliEvaluate different financing structures, including: /liliSenior project finance debt /liliConstruction financing /liliAcquisition financing /liliHoldCo and portfolio financing /liliRefinancing /liliBridge facilities /liliCorporate and structured debt solutions /liliSupport negotiations with commercial banks, infrastructure debt funds and other financing institutions. /liliPrepare lender materials, financing presentations, information packs and internal investment papers. /liliManage and coordinate financing due diligence across technical, legal, tax, insurance and commercial workstreams. /liliReview and support the negotiation of term sheets, facility agreements and other financing documentation.



/liliWork closely with internal bMA and investment teams /b to assess financing assumptions for acquisitions and new investment opportunities. /liliSupport the financing of projects from development through construction and into operations. /liliAnalyse project economics, including power price assumptions, PPAs, merchant exposure, CAPEX, OPEX and debt capacity. /liliMonitor existing financing arrangements, covenant compliance and refinancing opportunities across the operating portfolio. /liliDevelop and maintain relationships with European banks, debt funds, advisers and other financing partners. /liliSupport senior management in developing the group's broader financing and capital structure strategy. /li /ulpbr/ppCandidate Profile /ppThe successful candidate will ideally have: /pulliApproximately b3–6 years' relevant experience /b within project finance, structured finance, infrastructure finance or renewable energy. /liliExperience gained within an bIPP, renewable energy developer, infrastructure investor, investment bank, commercial bank, debt fund or financial advisory business /b. /liliStrong financial modelling capabilities and confidence working with complex project finance models. /liliPrevious transaction experience within brenewable energy, power or infrastructure /b. /liliUnderstanding of project finance structures, debt sizing, DSCR, sensitivities and project-level cash flows. /liliExposure to financing documentation and lender due diligence processes. /liliStrong analytical and commercial judgement. /liliAbility to manage several transaction workstreams simultaneously. /liliStrong communication skills and confidence interacting with lenders, advisers and senior internal stakeholders. /liliA proactive and entrepreneurial mindset suited to a growing IPP environment. /liliFluent English; Italian language skills would be highly advantageous. /li /ulpbr/ppPreferred Sector Experience /ppExperience across one or more of the following would be particularly relevant: /pulliSolar PV /liliOnshore Wind /liliBattery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) /liliHybrid renewable projects /liliPower Energy Infrastructure /li /ulpbr/p
