pbInvestment Director /b /ppbRome, Italy /b /ppbr/ppA leading European real assets investment manager is looking to appoint an Investment Director to join its growing team in Rome. /ppbr/ppThe successful individual will take a senior role across the origination, evaluation and execution of investments across the Italian market, with a particular focus on energy transition, renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure. /ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities /b /pulliOriginate and develop new investment opportunities across the Italian real assets market. /liliLead transactions from initial screening through due diligence, Investment Committee approval, negotiation and completion. /liliTake ownership of financial analysis, valuation, transaction structuring and investment returns. /liliCoordinate financial, commercial, legal, tax and technical due diligence. /liliLead negotiations with developers, vendors, advisers, financing partners and other counterparties. /liliPrepare and present investment recommendations to senior stakeholders and Investment Committees. /liliSupport portfolio strategy, refinancing, follow-on investments and potential exits. /liliBuild and maintain senior relationships across developers, advisers, banks and institutional investors.



/liliMentor and support junior members of the investment team. /li /ulpbr/ppbCandidate Profile /b /pulliApproximately 10+ years’ experience within infrastructure, real assets, renewable energy investment, private equity, MA or investment banking. /liliStrong track record of executing infrastructure or energy-related transactions. /liliDemonstrable experience operating within the Italian market. /liliExcellent financial modelling, valuation and commercial analysis capabilities. /liliStrong transaction structuring and negotiation experience. /liliAbility to independently lead complex investment processes. /liliStrong senior stakeholder and Investment Committee exposure. /liliFluent Italian and English. /li /ulpbr/ppRelevant sector experience may include solar, wind, BESS, energy networks, sustainable infrastructure, energy efficiency and wider real assets. /ppbr/ppThis represents an opportunity to join an established institutional investment platform in a senior position, combining deal origination, transaction leadership and portfolio exposure, with significant autonomy across the Italian market. /p
